We have stayed at Ave Suites a few times and this time was the best. We got a room with a king size bed and the room appeared to have been remodeled. They have a nice restaurant, pool and spa at a reasonable price. The only knock is the lack of parking and the road noise from Lacson Street traffic.

This was a 1st with last minute booking on my part, the hotel was amazing and staff was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to book a hotel, plus was within range of everything by taxi or even walking. A last minute booking for 2 nights stay only cost $84 U.S dollars had a pool gym bar and even a coffee dinning area. I will be there next year it was that good a hotel.

I have always stayed here every time Im in Bacolod.. very convenient location - near lots of food options and easy commute. But the hotel definitely needs renovation and upgrading. It started to get untidy and bathrooms near the resto and poolside are smelly. Though staff and service had always been the same and the convenience of the fifth floor spa is always a plus.

Nice large rooms, super clean (even the toilet paper roll was replaced daily), nicely furnished and equiped.. It was a convenient area along Lacson Street but there was a limited parking space. There were lots of restaurants nearby, but you are right next to the hustle and bustle. The hot water in the morning for shower is not working. There was only 1 pillow and you have to pay for another extra pillow. It was loud especially when people close their doors, which makes sleep and relaxation interrupted. I booked rooms for 10 days and wished I didn’t.

Overall outstanding. Excellent wifi even out by the pool which was the designated smoking area. Service was impeccable. Lots of great local restaurants nearby and street food. The Provincial Capitol is close as well as Ayala mall. Our only complaint is that my wife brought a glass down from the room to the pool and, when we checked out, they tried to charge us for it. My wife complained and they went on a search. After about 15 minutes, I got tired of the taxi waiting for us so we paid the 250 pesos and got on our way. But overall, outstanding.

This is a nice hotel close to stores and restaurants but there is no quality control with housekeeping. Toilets have a stained ring like it needs a real good bleaching and scrubbing. AC was not working well and it was dripping. Problem was resolved after we were moved to a different room
