The Gold Crest Hotel was an excellent start and finish to our safari trip. The room was spacious and the staff were friendly. The welcome drink was good, as was the complimentary breakfast buffet. The property was clean and wifi was generally good. The hotel seemed to be within walking distance of the town centre, but our logistics required us to take a short Bolt ride instead (no Uber available). There was a pool at the property but I did not have a chance to use it. I must admit it seemed a bit smaller than I expected. Overall, this was a good hotel for a visit to Arusha and would recommend to others.

A floor squeeze for the toilet floor to keep the bathroom floor dry after taking shower, an iron, and more coffee shachets. We had only one in our kitchenette.

Ich hatte ein sehr großes ruhiges Zimmer nach hinten. Frühstück hat eine gute Auswahl. Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Komme gerne wieder.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean enough with a nice pool. However, the rooms could have used some maintenance. Neither of the safes in the two bedroom suite worked, air conditioning in one room did not work, and although the suite itself was spacious, the bathrooms were very cramped. The breakfast buffet was good. The worst issue we had was the late night noise from a bar situated across the street, which went on until the early hours of the morning. While we understand this is outside the control of the hotel, unfortunately it did impact the quality of our stay as it was hard to get to sleep.

2/10 Mediocre

Likely the worst experience I have ever had. We had reserved 2 "Presidential" Suites and had paid for them. When we arrived after our safari, they only had one available. We had no choice but to stay there in the one they had. The room was terrible. Bathroom is so small that you can't even fit into it, and I am an average sized adult. The internet is terrible too. The worst part after all this inconvenience was that they told us the they would refund the money for the 2nd room that wasn't available. It has been almost 2 months with multiple attempts but no refund.
