A lovely hotel , excellent views very clean hotel . We booked last minute. Booked a double room . Did not realise it was a piped room . So no window. Very small. A good en-suite . Only there for two nights so coped with the the room.

My wife and I had a truly excellent stay! The room was wonderful, and that bed was so comfortable. Waking up to the great view of the sea in the morning was just amazing. Plus, the location couldn't have been more perfect for walking on the beach. And the staff were all so nice and helpful throughout our visit. Scrumptuous breakfast as well.

Overall a very good experience, location perfect with nothing but the sound of the sea and fantastic views. Slight criticism over the quality of the 'English Breakfast' which did not appear to be cooked individually but 'assembled' from pre-cooked. The other restaurant food was truly excellent and imaginative, well done to the evening chef. Will come again.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with beautiful walks along the shore. The hotel is clean, sophisticated and comfortable. The staff were almost all very friendly, kind and helpful. The food was very nice - excellent breakfasts especially. The only downsides are that the pool is freezing. Also information on the room specification was misleading ‘shower/bathtub combination’ logically made me think we would have a bathtub with a shower over the top. As a part of an expensive seaview room, I really wanted a bath and the information given made me believe this is what we would have instead of the shower which I found in our room. Otherwise I would not have booked that room. I was told on arrival by the hotel manager that I should have made a special request for this before arriving (which made it seem like this was my fault). She told me that there was nothing she could do about it because they were fully booked and that next time, I needed to request this to avoid being disappointed. No other attempts to make up for this or to at least accept that the information given had been misleading were made. The rest of the kind and welcoming staff and our stay there made up for this rude and unkind interaction and we had a nice time but this did taint the trip for us and better customer service could have avoided us feeling disappointed and told off.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights in mid October and had a lovely stay - the location of the hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable with a sea view (as we requested) and the breakfast was really good - cooked options as well as pastries, cereal, fruits etc! We also ate at the Rocks Restaurant which I'd highly recommend, the food and service were both brilliant.

The location
