The person at the front desk was a nice gentleman but that is about the only positive for this trip. To begin we rang the bell and waited about 10 minutes before someone came to check us in (3:45pm). After we got checked in and went to the room and unpacked only to find the door didn’t latch when shut. Went back down to be told that you have to lift up on the door at the same time you shut it. After a few tries we were able to lift it enough to get it to close, imagine doing that everytime you left the room for 4 days… super annoying. If you know the door is broken, fix it! The group in bathroom and vanity area was filthy and housekeeping left some things in the trash and fridge from previous occupants, but other than that the room was clean and bed was comfortable. If you are coming here to enjoy the mountains this is not the place, there is zero amenities outside, not even a chair to enjoy your morning coffee. Oh and let’s talk about coffee, they ran out the second day. I don’t mean they ran out and had to make more, they ran out of coffee. Free breakfast had zero options for somebody with food allergies, I am used to having limited options as someone with celiac disease but there was literally not a single thing Gluten free. The hotel was filled with crews of workers which is exactly the type of hotel this is. Like I said, the nice young man at the desk and the central location was about the only positive things to say in this review. Will not be back.
