there is a strong chemical cleaner smell when i got to the corridor of the room floor. they need to air the place more. the facilities in the room are old in general. However, there have a very modern shower which seem to have been installed recently.

位置滿好的，服務態度很親切! 先說優點，它的地點真的很不錯，離巨城購物中心很近，散步就可以到市區，附近生活機能很好。夜裡周邊環境也算安靜，不會吵。而且櫃檯的服務人員態度都很溫和親切。 地下停車場是機械車位，也不多，路邊可以停車，飯店可以支付停車費，最高200元。 一般路邊停車都不會超過，因為晚上十點到早上八點不收費，如果是停對面學校要注意!按每小時收就會超過，需要自付。 房間大且乾淨，但硬體很有歷史感，進到房間，第一印象是空間給得很大，還有附小沙發跟浴缸，連蓮蓬頭的出水量跟溫度都很穩定。雖然看得出是有年代的舊旅館，但至少表面上打掃得乾淨、沒有異味。 不過，硬體老舊帶來的缺點也滿多的。首先它是用傳統鑰匙開門，還要插著厚重的壓克力牌才有電，非常不方便。床頭也沒有插座，充電不太方便。我住四人房，發現兩張床的硬度竟然完全不同，有一張硬得像木板，一張很軟很舒服，睡眠品質真的只能碰運氣。 有一個大優點! 可以免費洗衣跟烘衣服，八樓有四台洗衣機，兩台烘衣機都可以免費使用，對外出住宿兩天以上很方便! 小小缺點是八樓要去洗衣服經過的路線很老舊不是很明亮，連我一個大男人都有點害怕，還好沒有出現什麼怪聲音。 早餐我覺得滿好吃的，東西樣式還算不少，可以吃飽。不過，家人抱怨炸物拿到的時候都是冷掉、軟掉的。涼拌豬耳朵腥味很重，她還覺得反胃，肉燥飯的肉燥也是，可能是當天或前一天的肉不新鮮。三四位服務人員都很親切介紹、熱情詢問跟清潔，檯面也算乾淨。但是，果蠅一直飛，趕不走! 我後來也吃不下去了! 隔壁桌還有人吃完才在菜裡面發現，服務人員一直道歉，她也是生氣地離開了!整天心情應該都被影響了! 總結來說，日月光飯店新竹館的價格想對其他飯店算是便宜、空間大、地點好，如果想省錢找個地方睡一晚，這間算是很超值。
