Lamassu is a very new small and apparently family-run hotel in a residential neighborhood within easy walking distance to the old town. Parking outside was very accessible and safe. The place exudes an upmarket aura and is tastefully decorated in a semi-classical fashion. There was some confusion about my choice of room upon arrival, but that was quickly sorted out, and the suite was very spacious with a huge terrace. The breakfast was semi-individually prepared and had an abundance of olives, cheeses etc. to choose from. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Our room was so clean, spacious, comfortable, and airy, making us feel right at home. The Mezopotamian-inspired decor was beautiful, unique, and thoughtfully designed, adding a special charm to the entire experience. The Turkish owners were incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. Breakfast was various, delicious, and carefully prepared. We were also impressed by the attention to details in the room. Everything we could possibly need was provided, from coffee, mocha, many tea bags to wet wipes, room fragrance, and many other thoughtful little touches. It is clear that a lot of care and effort has gone into making guests feel comfortable. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, beautiful design, and exceptional hospitality!
