I stay at this hotel regularly 4 or 5 times a year. I have previously been promised by the management that children are only allowed in the Spa during morning sessions. My Spa was spoilt by a child being allowed in halfway through the afternoon session. His loud shrieking in the pool could be heard inside the sauna! Jumping about and splashing other people does not make for a relaxing experience.
In the evening we went to the bar, as we always do, to enjoy a drink sitting on the terrace. Could not believe the rudeness of the waiter. He just said "No, not possible" and walked off!. We eventually managed to get a drink and sit inside at the bar, having been told that the outside terrace was reserved for people eating. We had the opportunity to watch and listen to the appalling attitude of this waiter and a female member of staff. They were extremely rude to everyone, one poor hotel guest asked to see the menu, he was told "no, not for you tonight". Another couple wanted to sit in the restaurant for their dinner, but were told no, and they had to sit in the bar. A different couple wanted to sit outside with a bottle of wine. They were rudely told to go to the upstairs bar to get a bottle of wine, and that they could not sit outside. I have never in my life heard hotel staff treating guests so badly. It was disgusting, I don't know how they manage to keep their jobs.
