The building is very clean in all areas. My stay was quiet and comfortable. The array of restaurants in walking distance is amazing. This hotel is my go-to when traveling between Asheville and Dallas.

Essence was amazing at the front desk, very knowledgeable and helpful. She was above and beyond the treatment you’d expect to receive on a single night stay. We will stay here again, and hope to find more of these hotels around the country. Thank you Essence.

Great location. Everything was clean and safe. No frills but a clean room and a hot shower. Will definitely use again

The shower head was small making it difficult to get a good shower. The pressure was okay, I think that was because of the size of the head. Not an exciting room but the price was right.

It was good but had some plumbing issues.

Fairly new building, conveniently off I-40, no breakfast just coffee. Shades could be better keeping out the light.

The property was clean and the concept of it being a "studio" type room is great. The room had an apt size refrigerator and 2 burner cook top. Perfect for extended stays. However, there were no cups, glasses, plates, utensils, or cookware to complement the aminety of having the ability to cook. You would guess that with a kitchenette, there would be a larger trash can for that area; there was only one small trash can in the bathroom. The bathroom was supplied with towels & bath cloth for 2 showers. There was no bath mat to step onto when exiting the shower so one of the only two towels was used as a bath mat. If the property is designed for extended stay, it should stock the rooms accordingly without guests having to venture to the front desk for items such as irons and hairdryers. I get the minimalist vision but it is lacking for an extended stay property. Front desk is not staffed after 10 PM which is fine if guests don't require anything. A number is provided to contact the on call manager during the time the front desk isn't staffed for emergencies. I attribute the lack of many items due to the property being open for only 4 months. Those are my observations on what would make this an excellent property in which to stay. Oh and the staff were top notch.

The room was very clean. The staff was very nice. We had never stayed at this particular type of hotel so we did not realize the staff left from 10-7. The air conditioner sounded like someone shoveling snow every time it came on. The window had a shade but no curtain so the sun was nice and bright as soon as it came up. The rooms did not have coffee pots and there is no coffee in the lobby. The rooms are extended stay but there is nothing in the rooms such as a pan or utensils. The freezer had setting water inside.

This appears to be a brand new property so everything was clean and in working order. I would have expected different lighting controls in the room given the switching layouts, plus the lighting color temperature is harsh and not inviting. The lighting in the bathroom was sufficient for me as a male, but I could see it being very deficient for anyone trying to apply makeup, put in contacts attempt anything requiring attention to detail as there was only a dimly rear-edge illuminated mirror and one recessed light over the shower.

The big mistake: The designer! Tons of expensive features implemented terribly! Room lights are bright like a stadium, ambient light above bed might have been nice if it were on a separate switch from the stadium lights, parking lot lights flash, Venetian blinds don’t successfully block outside lights, no ice machine in building, bathroom light above shower so bright I turned it off, which means the fan doesn’t run, which means the bathroom will end up moldy. Seating not comfortable. I’d have been happier with a room half the size with ceilings 3’ shorter in exchange for features that actually felt comfortable. No lighting overhead the breakfast bar, no desk, no desk light… all style over practicality, not impressed. You can do better Marriott! Lots of money wasted in my opinion! Big shock given that most of my stays are at lower price point choice hotels, wyndam etc.

Room was dirty, no staff after 10:00, staff does not change linens and you have to take out your own trash. Not as advertised, very poor quality. Staff was very friendly and helpful to the best of their abilities, but that is the only positive thing about this property
