We had a wonderful stay and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, an eight-block area around the hotel had lost power majority of the day. The team handled the situation amazing hospitality despite not being able to control the power situation: they treated us to a tlayuda (like a Mexican pizza and quesadilla combined) and welcome drink, carried our bags upstairs, and the bar manager even arranged a mezcal tasting.
The hotel itself was spotless, fresh, and updated. I loved the colors and decor in the rooms. The staff spoke English, and they were patient and friendly when we tried out our Spanish. They also arranged taxis whenever we asked and shared helpful recommendations for places to eat and things to do.
The location is excellent, just about a five-minute walk from the city center, with plenty nearby. One small suggestion: it would be nice to have a few more toiletry amenities in the room, such as a shower cap, toothpaste and cotton swabs.
I would absolutely stay here again and recommend Luuna de Jade to friends. The team made a challenging arrival feel welcoming, and the hotel was a lovely place to stay.
