We’ve just spent three wonderful nights in the hills above Rishikesh at Moshams, and it was exactly what we needed after the hustle and bustle of Delhi and Haridwar. The hosts and staff were exceptional, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. We came as guests and left as friends—a truly special experience that we’ll always remember. The rooms are spacious, thoughtfully designed, and spotlessly clean. Both of our rooms had stunning views over the surrounding countryside and down to Rishikesh below. Ours had a little plunge pool on the balcony and this then opened out onto the patio area around the main pool area. Just one of the many clever design features. The food was excellent, freshly prepared each day by the on-site chef. We’re now in the noise and chaos of Rishikesh, a beautiful town, but it highlights how peaceful and tranquil it felt sitting high up in the hills looking down on where we are tonight. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a fantastic experience at MoShams! The location is absolutely beautiful, offering stunning surroundings that made our stay truly special. The facilities were impeccably clean throughout our visit, which we really appreciated. Our room exceeded expectations—it felt premium and luxurious, especially considering the price point. The value for money was excellent. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was delicious and well-prepared, adding to the overall quality of the experience. From the moment we arrived, the hosts/owners & staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Food was great and the view from the balcony of the room truly amazing. We had an amazing stay at Moshams recently on a mom and daughter’s trip to Rishikesh. It is run by a sweet couple, Sharmila and Mohit who truly make the property welcoming and full of charm. From the time we booked the property, they engaged with us to arrange transportation, food and activity options and shared insights into local sites. The rooms were spacious with big, clean bathrooms. We enjoyed the clean waters of the pool. Special mention to the chef, Mr.Narendra who cooked some of the best food we have eaten with fresh, local ingredients - the Pahadi thali is a must try! Sharmila went out of her way to get medicine for my sister who had a bout of ill health, much appreciated!!! All in all, Moshams scores in hospitality, curated food and a quiet, pristine location. The treks we did near the property were a lot of fun! Highly recommend Moshams to anyone visiting Rishikesh!

Quiet and calm

A quiet laid back escape from the hustle and bustle of Rishikesh. I ate some great food. The owners are experiencing hoteliers and the chef worked for 9 years in Taiwan. Lovely spot!

If I could give them more stars I would!!! When I was originally booking this from back home in America, I thought it looked perfect. So far they have exceeded my expectations. From the booking to our arrival, everything has been amazing! The service is top notch. The food is insanely delicious. They have gone above and beyond with accommodations. The rooms are beautiful. The pool is serene. The property is gorgeous. They’ve helped us book activities and arrange transportation, everything a foreigner might need help with! I am sad to be leaving. Highly recommend!!!
