The place was great. I think they only have ten rooms. My only complaint was the only source of lighting besides a tiny lamp which hardly worked in the corner was a very bright center light. If it had a dimmer, or alternative source of ambient light, the place would be so much more enjoyable. Balcony was great. Breakfast was good.

The location is great, 5 minutes from airport. The room was clean but amenities were a problem. The AC unit was blowing air right on the face when sleeping. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work properly. Water stream was very weak from the showerhead. No body spoke English, hence communication was a problem.

Exotic hotel in exotic places. I spent one week holiday in the Hotel. Unique, beautiful building in magical beautiful Brazilian beach.The staff are very friendly, the rooftop of the hotel gives a beautiful view from around Ilheus, and the airport, the sea, and the beach. I just love it.😊

O Opaba é um excelente hotel, pé na areia, com ótimo restaurante e equipe simpática e bem capacitada. Restaurante muito bom. A música do restaurante é que desta vez deixou a desejar: alternou ótima MPB com "sofrência" de péssima qualidade, dando a impressão de que a seleção prévia padrão em alguns momentos é substituída pelas preferências individuais de alguém cujo gosto musical não combina muito com o ambiente. Seria interessante que a área da piscina, que é linda, tivesse um bar para drinks e petiscos no local.

O hotel oferece um café da manhã excelente. Ficamos um quarto Luxo com vista para o mar e curtimos a varanda todas as manhãs. O som dos aviões não nos incômodou pois era fundos do hotel. Mesmo assim, não há voos noturnos. Um quesito a melhorar é o atendimento no "pé na areia" do hotel, com falta de apoio. E a praia em frente ao hotel tem arrecifes, então andamos um pouco para outra área, mas a praia é muito plana e favorece as caminhadas.

O hotel quebrou um pouco minhas expectativas, primeiro ponto a vista do quarto, contratei com vista mar, porém embaixo da minha janela havia um telhado horroroso que estragava a vista mar (achei meio enganoso, porque paguei a mais). Segundo ponto, ar condicionado do quarto o ar vinha em cima da cabeça na cama, bem desconfortável. Terceiro ponto o banheiro achei velha a estrutura. Ah, o quarto tinha formigas. Um outro ponto que me incomodou foi que eu cheguei por volta da meia noite e o estacionamento estava fechado e a entrada do hotel também, então eu fiquei batendo na porta e esperando do lado de fora por alguns minutos até alguém aparecer. Café da manhã foi um ponto forte, e a estrutura do restaurante do hotel muito boa, comida maravilhosa. Por ser ao lado do aeroporto, achei que o barulho poderia ser um problema, mas não dois. Voltaria com algumas ressalvas.

Então o hotel é bom porém precisa melhorar principalmente com o meio ambiente no estacionamento não existe ponto ou tomada para um simples carregamento de veiculos elétrico e híbridos.
