We definitely will go back again.

We stayed at Halo House for a week, it’s our home away from home. The front desk crew is very friendly, helpful and informative, they always greeted us with big smiles. Breakfast is “ western style”, quiches were delicious, coffee was great . Breakfast is made to order, so the wait is a bit long. We had the family style room, the toilet room is separated from shower room, I felt the toilet is very cramped . For bedding, besides regular pillows, they even offered neck comfort pillow , which surprised me.They should have neck pillows for sale on site. 15th floor is public area for who stay there, gym is clean, self-laundry area is clean. For transportation, we relied on Uber, Halo House is at the corner, easy to find a pickup spot. But it’s a bit far from subway or mainline bus, however the overall environment is peaceful and quiet. Halo House is just across from Maple park , and around the corner from Taichung Theater , which I loved to have morning walks .

I really enjoyed my stay at Halo House. The location is great which is within walking distance of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. The room is nicely set up and has a full wall window which I love. When I wanted to travel to another town for a visit, the staff at the reception desk were very helpful. They helped me to do research and call for a car service. I will definitely come back again.
