Stains and mildew smell in the hallway carpets, sticky floor in room entry, couch/pull out bed felt like laying on a fence, broken coffee table, bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way to engage lock, no hot water in shower, phone didn’t work to call front desk about it.
When I went downstairs to report it, staff told me maintenance would fix it in the morning. I asked for a new room and there was not an urgency until I said I would wait in the lobby. As I waited for her to return, someone else came down with a complaint so it wasn’t just bad luck.
Stains and mildew smell in the hallway carpets continued to new room, overwhelming air freshener smell felt like cover, but it was 11 pm by that time after a long travel day, couch/pull out bed still felt like a fence, bathroom door frame had gaps all around it and the vent in the bathroom did not work. There were also two TVs in there and the remote would turn them both on and off, but channels were not in sync not matter what you did so they were unusable.
Breakfast was mediocre with eggs sitting in visible water, fruit was all damaged, and most of the chairs were stained.
