I recently spent five nights at this hotel, and while I loved its convenient location near the airport and Hip Strip, with its shops, restaurants, and nightlife, and the beach right across the street, my experience was mixed. The front desk staff, particularly the ladies, were exceptional. However, the restaurant staff's customer service was disappointing. Every morning, I felt like I was begging for attention, they’d ignore and stare without a greeting or even acknowledging my presence. As a Jamaican-born individual who's traveled extensively, I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of basic customer service skills.Would I stay here again? Yes.I'd stay here again due to its Jamaican ownership,the location and complimentary breakfast which was a nice touch. I know this is a fairly new hotel so I do hope to see improvements in the customer service.Some of those workers needs more training.A smile won’t hurt them.
