This was an amazing hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very clean, large with a lovely view on the deck of the gardens. The breakfast was also worth paying for. We would definitely come back to this hotel again. Best hotel we have stayed in so far during our France visit.

Le bois d’Imbert se démarque par la gentillesse de ses employés. Les espaces communs ont besoin d’un peu de rafraîchissement et surtout d’un suivi de propretés. La chambre de fait en revanche très propre et la climatisation est bien appréciée. Aucun frigo dans la chambre ce qui est assez décevant surtout lorsqu’on voyage avec des enfants. Pas de machine à glace non plus, on doit constamment demander des glaçons au bar. La porte de la douche n’est pas assez longue et toute l’eau se déverse sur le plancher malgré notre attention à ce détail. La piscine est bien appréciée. Le buffet du matin de vaut pas le coup, surtout si on s’y présente à une heure plus tardive. Nous avons eu droit qu’à des croissants, plus de pain, plus de brioche, des viandes qui ne sont pas gardées très fraîches, jus d’orange chaud (à même une distributrice), franchement mieux vaut dépenser son argent ailleurs. Le repas du soir très moyen aussi, malgré nos demandes spécifiques, nous avons dû retourner 2 plats, dont un 3x (demande bien cuit on nous apporte saignant, nous demandons sans fromage ou produits laitiers et on nous apporte gratiné puis avec une sauce crème). Vin rosé servi chaud. Par contre, le personnel est très gentil.

Je vais commencer par les points positifs : - le personnel très sympathique et serviable - l’emplacement à moins de 10 minutes de Rocamadour. Maintenant les points décevants : 1- les chambres, qui mériteraient un sacré rafraîchissement et un peude déco 2- l’accès à la piscine : il faut traverser le parking (en revanche mention spéciale pour le petit bassin qui a beaucoup plu à notre fille de 4 ans). 3- et surtout, surtout la restauration : lent, rapport qualité prix très mauvais et le petit déjeuner chaotique : une pauvre jeune femme pour servir, desservir, remplir les étales etc… tout le monde se plaignait et malheureusement cette pauvre serveuse prenait pour un management qui fait sans doute défaut… Ne vaut pas 4 étoiles…

Som at træde ind på et spøgelseshotel. Foruden os kun. 4 andre gæster hvad vi så. Det hele virkede forladt, som om stedet havde været stort engang, omend det nu mere kalde på vedligehold. Familie suite i pæn størrelse og tilfredsstillende senge, men med en gammel vingummi bamse på gulvet og et større edderkoppe spind inden for døren gav ikke umiddelbart det bedste indtryk. Badeværelset slidt, omend der var rene håndklæder og sæbe til rådighed. Vi blev bedt om at udfylde ønsker til morgenmad dagen før, på et afkrydsningsskema hvilket allerede der gav bange anelser. Morgenmadslokalet stort og med smuk udsigt, men med en forladt buffet uden mad. Vores bestille mad fra dagen før, blev opvarmet hurtigt i køkkenet , men levede på ingen måde op til hvad man forventer af et hotel med 4 stjerner. Det var som om at de gerne ville spare - måske grundet de få gæster. Men det blev en flad oplevelse. Poolen var ren og pæn og veltempereret. På deres hjemmeside giver det indtryk af åben bar mm, men det hele virkede lukket og næsten opgivet. Området er fantastisk med mange oplevelser, så at hotellet er så forladt er sært.

Bonne expérience pour notre part : arrivée en pleine canicule, l’hotel était peu rempli par consequent, nous avons eu le plaisir de nous voir attribuer une chambre supérieure avec terrasse et vue panoramique sur la nature environnante ( le bois…) . Chambre très fraîche, climatisée bien sur, propre, très grande, tout comme la salle de bain. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié, pas de mouches dans la salle à l’intérieur. Personnel agréable, avec une mention spéciale pour le jeune homme du bar très sympathique. Les points négatifs : Certains détails ne collent pas avec le standing que l’on attend d’un 4 étoiles (peinture écaillée ds la salle de bain, pas de frigidaire dans la chambre, oeuf coque au buffet mais pas de coquetiers, ni de boisson vegetale, et le café pas très bon …) . Par contre les prestations restent tout à fait intéressantes pour le prix payé pour la chambre, ce qui en fait un hotel d’un excellent rapport qualité prix !

Het hotel ligt zo mooi in de natuur, en is mooi gerenoveerd. Een groot nadeel, er was geen brood bij het (betaalde) ontbijt en er was slechts één medewerker die paniekerig z’n best deed tevergeefs te helpen. Daarom geen slechte beoordeling in de hoop op beterschap.
