This is a fantastic spot to stay! We were in town for a horse show in Tryon and this was a perfectly convenient, affordable choice. We were so pleased with the cleanliness of the rooms, the nicely kept exterior, and the great service! We will definitely return to stay here for our next horse show.

It needs a bigger sign- the small one next to the road is hard to see.

8/10 Very good

This place was sufficient for our needs. There were no high end hotels in the area and this one was clean and quiet.
Michele, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

The property is a former Days Inn that is set back behind a gas station. The property needs lots of maintenance and cleaning. It was noisy throughout most of the night and the shower was far too disgusting to use.

Front desk was easy and the lady that checked us in was SUPER sweet. We came in for Spartan races and this was one of the best hotels we’ve gotten for that price. Y’all were wonderful!

Toilet was missing a toilet seat and was unusable. Room was musty when we arrived and had to open the door and run the air conditioner to be able to stay in the room

A fine but dated hotel. Some cleanliness issues and uncomfortable bed. Friendly staff. One night was plenty

Room was clean and comfortable, but for a former econolodge, I thought the price was a bit steep.

Went with my daughter for a horse event and it had many men hanging outside on the balcony. It was being renovated so there were pallets around. We took precautions within the room to feel secure. The WiFi never worked while we were there. When I asked for assistance the person said keep trying. The top blanket had dirt on it. There were drilled holes in the bathroom that we covered during our stay - the shower curtain had brown dirt on it and the baseboards were filthy. Ac worked great. We didn’t see where the breakfast was until that last day since the guy who checked us in never told anything. He appeared disinterest just like the other front desk person. Our last night two dogs who were left in the parking lot barked at 3:30 am. We will not be returning

Pros: affordable, convenient to TIEC, allowed pets ($25 pet fee), room was clean, woman at checkin was very pleasant. Cons: smelled like weed outside, chain on inside of door was broken and made me feel unsafe, tv channels are hard to navigate and no good selection, the man working the desk when I checked out wasn’t friendly

thumbs up

Room was clean, love the wood floor and the fridge and microwave in the room as well. I did recommend getting better blankets. It is a very thin sheet as a comforter and I had to go to the store to buy a blanket. That needs improving for sure.
Lisa, 2-night trip

The room was not very clean. It looks like they are in the middle of transitioning from another hotel chain, complete with a full dumpster in the parking lot. The toilet was not bolted to the floor and the shower would not fully shut off. I hate giving bad reviews but I would not stay here again.
Robert, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Horrible property

A roach hotel. Literally, the morning of our checkout we found a roach in our room. The property was run down and dirty. The pool was closed the entire time we were there. Can't comment on the breakfast, we didn’t eat anything at the property. Bottom line, look to Spartanburg or Hendersonville if you have to stay in this area. You do not want to stay here.

Too bad only hotel in the area

I stayed 2 night. On the first full day I was there I came back right before lunch to find my hotel room door OPEN! I know it was closed and secure when I left a little before 9am because I pushed on the door. I had several electronic devices in the room. Housekeeping had come in and took a used hand towel by the sink and emptied one of the small trash cans in the room that had maybe 3 small pieces of garbage. And my hand towel was not replaced with another clean one and the bag was not replaced in the trash can. Either housekeeping did not close my door or it was not shut all the way and came open. Either way I was very angry. I ended up putting the Do Not Disturb sign on my door after that.
