I stayed in one of the camping2go tent things. They're really actually pretty cool and spacious. If you're looking to properly camp, the kitchenette thing has blooming everything you need. I did notice quite quickly that the mosquitos love to hang around this kitchenette area, so come prepared. Dinner and breakfast are decent, though it turned out the money paid for these was the most I'd paid for any meal in the whole 10 days I was travelling in Namibia.

Nous avons choisi un logement en tente, nous avons adoré ! Il s’agit d’une tente en mode hyper confort et très propre. Une literie exceptionnelle, une grande salle de bain, une cuisine extérieure avec tous les ustensiles et la vaisselle nécessaires et un barbecue. La réception propose le bois et des menus spéciaux BBQ. Le complexe est aussi très agréable et bien équipé. Le personnel est aimable et disponible. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement

Superbe Lodge, nous avons logés dans le camping dans de superbes tentes aménagées en dur avec salle de bain, espace de cuisine et lits très confortables, logement extrêmement propre et cadre aux alentours magnifiques. Juste devant notre tente des girafes et des Oryx! Personnel absolument adorable! Buffets délicieux!

About an hour from deadvlei this is a good choice of place to stay. The tents are a good size and contain everything you need. There are a few walks round the property to keep you active and there are 2 small pools. The staff were great, very friendly and professional.

Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis. Das Zelt war großzügig und hatte ein sehr gutes saubere Badezimmer. Es gab alles um sich selbst zu verpflegen, und die Ruhe genießen. Abends konnte man hinter dem Pool die Tiere am Wasserloch beobachten und nachts die Sterne. Morgens beim Sonnenaufgang kamen Oryxe vorbei und eine Schaar von Helmperlhühner (Perlhühner). Ein toller Ort.

The tents are a great way to experience the wonderful nature while still enjoying many amenities. Having a private bathroom with warm water and a fully equipped outside kitchen (incl. gas, fridge and running water) was very comfortable. The fireplace (wood available at reception for reasonable price) and bbq facility were the highlight of each day, only exceeded by being woken up by a herd of oryx around the tent in the middle of the night.

My stay in the Namib desert camping2go was absolutely incredible. The region truly felt like paradise, not only because of its stunning landscapes, but also thanks to the warm and welcoming people. Everyone was incredibly courteous and eager to help. In particular, the managers, Milton and Peter, made me feel right at home, almost like family. Their attentiveness and kindness truly made my experience unforgettable.”

About an hours drive away from Deadvlei. The tent was spacious and had everything you needed. Lovely to have a glass of wine watching some oryx and zebra from the tent. Tents 10 min walk from the main lodge where there is internet and a restaurant and pool. There is a buffet dinner in the evening for around 450nd but you can also order some food such as sandwiches and salad or meat which you can cook yourself. There is also lighter style lunch items in the restaurant till 3. Staff very helpful and everything very clean. Nice hot showers too in your tent. Good value.
