Hotel 1898 is a classy unique building. All common spaces, including the lobby the bar, spa and pool areas, are maintained very well, retaining architectural features that make the building look beautiful. The staff was very helpful, and the building was always kept clean. It's location on La Rambla was very convenient and close to Mass transportation.

Our stay at 1898 was one of the highlights of our trip. Hotel staff was friendly and warm from check in to check out. Our room was spacious and had a balcony which we enjoyed. The rooftop was gorgeous and staff very attentive and helpful.we will likely return.

Lovely stay at Hotel 1898. We were celebrating my birthday and were welcomed in the room with a bottle of Prosecco and cake, which was a lovely surprise. Hotel is very clean and has a great bar on the roof terrace. Lovely people staying there as well. Ideal hotel for couples and solo travellers. Would definitely stay there again.
