Mixed experience – Great potential but major communication and comfort issues
The hotel itself is quite nice, but our stay was covered by poor communication and several frustrating service failures. First, there was a language barrier with the Spanish-speaking service staff, which led to a serious issue: my pregnant wife was served raw beef. It took an additional hour just to get her correct order.
Furthermore, our air conditioning was broken, leaving us in a 27°C room for two nights. The only person who tried to help was the new head of reception, but the only compensation offered was a late checkout on our departure day, which didn't make up for the sleepless nights. To top it off, our room cards stopped working, and due to a lack of understanding from the receptionist, I had to walk up and down three times before it was finally fixed.
The property has good vibes but the management needs to improve staff training and maintenance.
