Room for improvement!
The best is the location, the view! I wish the owner of this property came as an undercover guest. Obviously it’s hard to get qualified staff on Pender when you only pay minimum wages although the price level should give room for improvement. More than once we thought of giving the breakfast room a chance but each time we turned around not only because of the teenager with the heavy metal through her nose but also because of the smell of the room. Even some flowers could have brightened up the place.
One of the two pools were closed so the remaining one was filled like a fish soup and the management couldn’t care less. As a result I recommend not to pick a room close to the pool unless you are hearing impaired.
To end on a positive note - the food was delicious. We’ll, if you are lucky enough to get a table in the evening even as a hotel guest.
