Disappointed Anniversary Stay
We booked 2 days for our Anniversary in the King Suite. Upon arrival checking in the front receptionist that dealt with us was professional until the other male receptionist started complaining out loud he had to talk to upcoming guest for 35 minutes on the phone which both receptionist laughing and complaining in front of guest checking in. Very unprofessional behaviour for front staff.
When we received a phone call saying our room was clean we checked our room out. Detail was not look at for example inside the armoire where the tv and fridge were it was full of dust. The patio was not swept where chocolate peanuts under the patio chairs and pine needles on the cement floor.
I read in other comment the place needs a lot of updating but I looked past that hoping it wasn’t so bad. They were right… wallpaper peeling off the walls, furniture stained, carpets have large stains, end table covered in big water stains and the bed very uncomfortable … looking under sheet a very old mattress that sinks in the centre.
Now the hot tub above reception covered in pine cone with needles getting in our suit. We decided to try the hot tub below near cafe which was clean but didn’t work properly. Getting dark we thought the lights would come on so we could see where we were walking through pool area… husband 70 having to use our flashlight to find our way out. Maybe they were trying to save electricity I don’t know.
Restaurant over priced!
Would we come back- no!
