Definitely would recommend staying there. Very central to trains,trams, shops. The staff are amazing - We ate at the restaurant most nights during our 1 week stay and our waitress Emily was exceptional. Breakfast was also delicious & lots of choices to choose from. The room was clean and quiet, and the location- literally attached to the train station- made it perfect for a one night stay between train trips. The breakfast buffet was so luxurious and special. And the bag storage room was very helpful, since we arrived early and had to check out before our train trip. The staff was very lovely and let us hang out in the lobby and use the lobby bathroom before our train.

We have been on a tour of Sweden, staying in hotels of a similar price point or cheaper. The other hotels were immaculate and great facilities, Hyatt Place fell short. Our first room was so vile we went to reception to complain. Stained bare mattresses with no covers, broken tiles in the bathroom, stained walls, stained carpet and the door seal was falling off. We moved rooms but the design is awful. No plug sockets for hair dryer in suitable locations in front of a mirror and poor lighting to the point you need a torch sometimes to see. Will never return.

V havde reserveret 2 værelser med 4 overnatninger i højsæsonen og vi havde reserveret værelser øverste oppe med udsigt til byen. Det var store lyse samt stille værelser med fin udsigt over området og de var rene og velholdte. Vi var 2 voksne i hvert værelse, men der var faktisk plads til 3 personer i hvert værelse, da sofa i værelse kunne benyttes til seng også, da det var en rigtig madras. Sengene var lidt bløde efter vores smag. Hotellet er forholdsvis nyt og er faktisk bygget oven på den gamle togstation, men der var ingen støj, som kunne høres i hotel eller på værelserne. Hotellet ligger meget centralt og perfekt for udflugter med bådene til skærgården, gåtur til gamle bydel,ca 20 min til Haga Kvarteret, tæt på Operaen, tæt på det store indkøbsområde, som ligger lige over for hotellet samt utallige spisestedr under hotellet og i området. Personalet er super venlige og meget hjælpsomme, rigtig fin service, som man ofte møder i Sverige, det kan Svenskerne bare. Morgenmadsbuffet er rigtig god og over gennemsnittet i forhold til de fleste hoteller i Europpa. Selvom det var højsæson og der var mange gæster på Hotellet, så fik man hurtigt en plads, hvis der var optaget i morgenmadsresaturant, bordene blev hurtigt ryddet af og gjort rene, personalet cirkulerede hele tiden og fjernede brugt service og buffet blev hele tiden fyldt op, så der på intet tidspunkt manglede mad.Vi blev positivt overraskede over hotellet og det var med til at gøre besøget i den fine by Gøteborg super.
