Do NOT book the place until you call the property and ask if they fixed all their fire code violations (parts were on back order when I was there).
It was a last minute selection on my trip back home. I'm no stranger to booking non-refundable options, however I would have expected a note somewhere from the hotel about all the life safety issues placing rooms out of orders by the order due to fire code violations, or at least not making them non-refundable.
My first room on the 3rd floor was surrounded by OOO rooms with the bright yellow notice on doors. The lady at the front desk was very nice and moved me to another floor (2nd), with less yellow notices on doors. At least this time I was not surrounded, although my smoke detector was hanging by the wires only (not encouraging when you think of all the other issues).
Rooms were clean, but pretty bare.
Breakfast area was large, but the floor was sticky, not sure what kind of products they were (not) using. Food itself was very sparse beyond the hot food. The attendant was there, but not really on top of things.
Pro: easy to find, large parking, pretty safe area, restaurants around.
Con: Big one for me was all the life safety issue/violation and the non-refundable requirement (which the hotel refused to waive), breakfast.
