This stay was an extremely poor experience. Insufficient parking spaces, no management within the hotel premises, cars parked chaotically, making it difficult to navigate turns. The room had no windows and a bad odor, relying on a one-meter-high exhaust fan to keep air circulating, which was noisy all night. When checking out, I provided my license plate for free parking, but was charged at the gate. Due to heavy rain, I had to pay and leave. Later, I returned to the hotel to ask the front desk why I was charged. They asked me to show proof of payment and a photo of the QR code at the gate. After all the hassle, leaving the hotel was still difficult due to cars chaotically parked along the roadside. This was the worst hotel experience in China. It’s a huge blow to the IHG brand. The hotel breakfast was far below standard.
