Parking was on site, and easy to access. Staff upon checking in at the desk were courteous and welcoming. Let us check in an hour early. No issues there. The lobby was well kept, and easy to navigate. Decided to stay at this location for convenience of walking distance to the Aquarium, Phillips, and the Soundstage to celebrate my birthday with my mother, and spouse. The room on the other hand, very dated, large thick cobwebs in corners of the ceiling, questionable wall stains near the beds and desk, peeling wallpaper, and the shower was rather uncomfortable to use as a man of 6'2. The beds were ok, linen was very stiff and scratchy. Woke up to the lamp in the corner that was not on during our brief moments in the room before bed, had turned itself on in the middle of the night. Did not attempt to use the television, coffee pot, or mini fridge but they were provided with the room for the stay. The view from the room wasn't bad, especially at night. Did not partake at any of the onsite restaurants at this time, although they are quite impressive options. All in all, the room itself was not a highlight of the trip for the spouse and myself. Had higher hopes and expectations for the stay based off of previous knowledge of the property, and physical location. Unfortunately it ended up feeling just like a place to rest our heads when we were completed with the days activities and nothing more. Maybe it was just the room we were given, but likely hood of coming back are slim.
