Out of all the hotels I stayed at during my visit to Japan, this is the one I liked the most. My husband and I got the double bedroom, so it was very spacious for both of us. The room and bathroom were clean and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping area, the market and the Gion neighborhood. The entrance to one of the metro lines is close by, and if you don’t mind walking like 10 mins to get to it, then the hotel’s location won’t be a problem. I recommend getting a taxi to and from Kyoto station when you are ready to go on to your next destination, if you have a lot of luggage. Since my husband and I were pulling four suitcases, it was easier to just get a taxi. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
