We had to make a last minute reservation since the cottage we rented didn't work out. Luckily the Newberry location had one room left. It worked well for our 2 nights. It was in close proximity to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the nice breakfast was a real plus.

Staff was friendly. Lots of parking. The room was slightly dated and not clean looking. Bed was clean. Breakfast was good.

Enjoying the hot tub after a busy day at pictured rocks was great. The bed was comfortable. The shower/bathroom was very nice. The deluxe breakfast was well done. My only complaint is the pleather chairs need replacement in room 230. This would be an easy fix. Other than this minor detail, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was not maintained. They were out of a lot of items. When we checked out the person at the front desk said people came up to complain all morning that it was not maintained and she told them she wasn’t in charge of breakfast. Room was clean and there was a cute, but expensive gift shop in the lobby.

We were not happy with only a hot tub and not a pool. When you pay over $200.00 a night you expect it. Major disappointment Staff very good.

We had wonderful service. The room was very clean, beds were soft and lots of pillows. I wouldn't have had to take anything with me. The room was stocked with everything I needed. The only thing I would change is in the bathroom I would have liked a mirror on a swivel arm to pull away from the counter to put my makeup on. I am to short to reach over the bathroom counter to look in the mirror. House keeping really are good at their jobs. The ladies at the front counter were fabulous. Loved the breakfast. We didn't leave hungry. Warm cookies and popcorn in the evening is such a nice touch. They have a good eye for decorating. Great place to stay and we are going to recommend this hotel in Newberry to all of our family and friends. Was glad to have such a nice place to come to after riding the motorcycle 500 miles. Thank You for a wonderful stay we will be back again. Sincerely, Mike Fenske and Linda Armstrong Midland, Michigan

Nice property and well maintained. You can tell the owner and staff take pride in the facility. It's an older facility but well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The day counter staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. The evening person, not so much. She seemed annoyed that she had to make popcorn and cookies for the guests. Nothng was done on time and she bordered on being rude with the guests about the timing of the popcorn and cookies. The spa area could use some updating. the sauna is not functional. The breakfast was quite a spread with many selections, it was well done. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this property.

I loved the hot tub and how friendly most of the staff was. Especially one of the older ladies at the check in she was very kind and helpful. I also loved how there was always delicious free freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and popcorn. I thought too that the gift shop in the hotel was super cute. I did however have mixed feelings on the way you had to request fresh towels, cleaning and your beds being remade etc. I understand them not wanting to bother the customers but I also never thought it was hard to hang the do not disturb on your room door.

Nice hotel in Newberry. The staff were very kind especially Ashley. She made sure to get my note on hotels.com and then take care of my room. Then was very helpful the next day.Perfect location to travel to Munsing and Tahquamenon falls. Washer and dryer on-site does work thats a bonus. Free popcorn. A small gift shop. Id highly recommend this place.
