We were disappointed in this hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom suite for 3 people but the room had supplies for only 2 people. On our first night there, we had no TV service, no hot water in the sink, and a toilet that would not refill. A hotel employee came to our room and spent hours trying to fix the problems. And we spent the first night of our stay stuck in the hotel room assisting him. Although the hotel management was apologetic, they were never able to get the TVs working. We had also requested an in-room safe prior to our arrival and were provided only a small portable (2-lb) safe that offered no security and malfunctioned. On the following night, we asked the front desk to arrange for a taxi to take us to the ferry port in the morning. The next morning, at the time of our departure, we were told the taxi had not been arranged. They called a taxi for us and were told that the ferry port was not open that day due to winds, so we had to go to another more distant ferry port. We ended up missing the next ferry out of that port and had to wait 3 more hours for the next ferry. This resulted in us arriving late and losing our rental car. Although it was not the hotel’s fault that the ferry was not operating, if they had scheduled the taxi for us, we could have been notified of the closure sooner and have made it onto the earlier ferry in the other port. We expected better service, and functioning utilities and appliances for the amount of money we paid for this hotel.
