The staff were charming, friendly and unfailingly helpful; breakfast was magnificent - routinely offering a huge array of mouth-watering goodies with which to start the day. The room was cosy, comfortable, welcoming and peaceful with a deep, luxuriant bed and perfectly proportioned armchairs. Meanwhile, the shops nearby were a treat - even the bookshop, although I neither read nor speak any Flemish! I very much look forward to my next visit.

I really enjoyed our stay in this characterful hotel which was very well located in the city of Bruges. You’ll need to pre book parking, and it is a few minutes walk away from the hotel. Staff and service were very good and attentive. Our room was in a building across from the main hotel and was a great size, the bathroom was huge!! My only disappointments were a) very thin and small towels b) large, unsightly and noisy fridge in the bedroom which we had to unplug at night and c) no USB sockets for charging phones/tablets. The bar room is beautiful for a drink before heading out for dinner. Breakfast is excellent, what a fantastic choice! We travelled with our dog, and felt very welcome with him. For breakfast, we had a table set up in the bar room which opens up into the breakfast room so we felt like we had our own private dining room!! It’s a great place to stay - if the room ‘niggles’ were sorted I’d give it 5*.

It's a lovely hotel. Each of the rooms are decorated differently which I thought was a nice touch. Located right in the centre of the tourist area of Bruges, everything is within a very short stroll. The breakfast is buffet style with a nice selection of foods, both hot and cold. The staff were great, friendly and eager to make your stay special. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that I would be happy to return to.

Hotel de Orangerie in Bruges was an exceptional stay. What truly set it apart was the staff—they went out of their way for every little thing we asked, always with genuine warmth and attention to detail. It made the experience feel personal and effortless. The hotel itself was charming and very well kept, and the location was ideal for exploring Bruges. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it.
