Don't do it. Place is a DUMP.

We booked through Hotels.com and I had no idea they would represent such a filthy dirty bug infested place. It was so bad we opened the door and just shut it and left for home instead of staying. Bed was sunk in the middle and you could see the pillows had been used. There was no less than 5 flies in the room along with a wasp and numerous box elder bugs. I have never seen a room and a motel in such deplorable shape. I will also be contacting Travelodge as I am sure they could have no idea what a dump shares their logo. Hotels.com also shares some responsibility as the have pictures that do not represent the condition of that hell hole. Do not even think of staying here!! Filthy from top to bottom!!!!

The room was disgusting! Upon entry it had a putrid smell. The beds must have plastic mattress covers as they made crinkling noises with every move-but sheets appeared clean. The bathroom is a nightmare! Toliet is extremely low, mold everywhere, the tub had been repainted and was peeling and the shower head looked to have been recently replaced but drywall was still bare. Not comfortable even trying to shower. No hot water at the sink. Looked as if a baseboard heater was removed below but parts were still hanging on the wall. When you walk across the room the dresser creaked and doors opened. Lampshades were dingy, hanging crooked and looked as if a knife had sliced through it. Dust and dirt in windows. The entry door itself was paper thin and looked as if someone tried entering it without the keycard, not to mention only 1 small latch for security.

Bait and switch

This felt like a total bait and switch. The condition was dismal. Cleanliness non existent. We tried to check out and the main desk was locked at 8am. We didnt dare attempt breakfast. The room with the ice machine stunk. The door to the bathroom didnt close fully.

Black Mold

So we were coming in from out of town and rented a room at the Travelodge by Wyndham as the online pics looked great ,hence why we chose this location..it seemed really nice for price/location was close in proximity to where we had plans/family ...plus we are members of Wyndham and have always had good experiences until now. Well upon arriving at the location, the pictures were deceiving., the hotel looked run down and sketchy looking , breakfast area was a tiny corner of the front office/check in area which also looked like it needed a good cleaning(nothing as it showed in the pics) However we decided we would go ahead and check in regardless as it had been a long trip. So we got the room key and go to check it out only to find that the bathroom had black mold in several areas we immediately went up front to the office and told the manager/worker about the black mold and he tried offering a different room. Seeing as how my wife is highly allergic to mold we declined and demanded a refund as we were not chancing being put in another room with mold . He was reluctant to refund til we brought up the board of health. We wanted to advise others about the black mold as it is a health hazard and needs to be addressed .

Nothing in the room other then a bed desk chair and dresser with the tv and fridge. Toilet is so low to the ground its neant for a small child. Only one set of towels and the toilet seat didnt even fir the toilet 🙄

Not so good

There were deep scratches on the wall, looks there was some type of animal trying to get out. The breakfast was absolutely lame, not sure what the purpose was. The shower creeped when you push on it, it needs a major overhaul.

Cheaper price shouldn't mean less clean.

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the property. There was what appeared to be mold and mildew in the bathroom. We didn't dare take a shower. Our toilet didn't work well. We left the light on in the bathroom so we would see any bugs. I have 3 nasty, what I assume to be, spider bites that I woke up scratching. Cigarette buds all over outside the rooms. Our room smelled like smoke. No real breakfast to speak of.

Like a time capsule without the capsule

It’s like a time capsule without the capsule. It once was a decent Travelodge I’m sure. But the toilet, shower, bathroom fan, towels, and much more needed replacing. Heavy smoke smell. But the tv worked, the AC worked, the hot water worked, and I made oatmeal and had the free coffee for breakfast. Clerk was super nice. And the prison next door has an amazingly gorgeous admin building.

Horrible stay

Power outage on Saturday. Rooms didn’t look completely done. Cobwebs all over. Bathroom was small. Doors hardly shut. Front room curtain was very old and broken.

Needs work

When I checked in, the guys were nice enough. The room seemed ok at first glance but later there were signs…..mold in almost all crevices in shower enclosure ( it was attached to tub)… overflow in tub had mold all around it. No fan in bathroom, or window so the whole room felt like a sauna after a shower or bath. Bathroom door looked as if it had been kicked in on the lower half and was covered with a square board while the back of the door was peeling and could hurt a child. The front door looked as if it had been kicked open and somewhat fixed but you could see where the deadbolt locked and the handle connected to the plate. The coffee maker had mold in it as well so we couldn’t use it. The main room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable and the ac worked great. I hate bagging on any place and am pretty flexible but this was a bit much to us anyway. It’s also RIGHT next to a correctional facility so I really wanted to feel safe. If they properly took care of the things I listed I would stay there again. The price was appealing and what I could manage.

This was NOT at all as described by Expedia. Safety lock fell off, pubic hairs all over, duct tape on shower curtain. Not clean at all. I doubt if I will ever use Expedia again.

Our room was not clean. Took blankets from my car to sleep on. We were on the backside of the location where workers lived. My credit card was hacked, the person checking us in wrote down my cc number and said machine was not working. Would not ever stay again.

Got charged $40 extra for a non smoking room and when we got to our room it was like a giant ash tray and smelled horrible. Worst room I have ever seen. Went and asked for a actual non smoking room, he did switch us to a slightly better smelling room but it was full of bugs. Towels were dirty. Black beetles all over the bad and bedding. Volume to the tv didn’t work. Air conditioning only worked on high or off. Could not adjust temperature at all so you either froze or were hot. Not sure where they got the photos of the rooms on hotel.com but those rooms definitely didn’t exist here. Will never ever ever stay here or anywhere associated with this company. Manager was definitely nice and tried to accommodate but I don’t think he had any good options available. Everything was old and run down
