We enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was comfortable for my family of 5. We enjoyed the onsite swimming pool. One reason why we stayed here was to be close to Florence. We were rewarded with a straight shot right into the east side of the city in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday night. We lucked out and found parking just outside the city center. Upon our return, we used our room key to reenter the building and our apartment. One thing to note is there is steep hill from the parking area...
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt welcomed and relaxed. Location is perfect, excellent breakfast and a staff that is simply wonderful in all aspects. Restaurants recommended by the concierge were excellent even though they did not appear on the internet’s restaurant’s list.
We have stayed at Silla prior to this visit and love the Hotel. The area is a perfect walk to the center of Florence but it is off the busy streets and very quiet. The staff is always very accommodating, willing to help in any way they can. They serve breakfast daily and it is a very nice way to start your busy day. The rooms are large and comfortable and also very quiet, affording a nice night's sleep after a busy day of touring.

We would stay here again! Walking distance to all of the must see attractions (Academia, Uffizi, etc.) Comfortable bed, clean room, and good breakfast included. One thing to note; the night we arrived, we entered the building and the hotel desk and lobby are not on the main floor. The staff is very friendly, the room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and the windows were thick enough to keep the noise out from the street. I booked this hotel after read someone's comment. As I learned, the location is a bit far from the center of city. Even so, it is still worth to stay at this hotel. If you take a taxi, it costs 10 euro from/to hotel approxilately. For money savers, taking a bus #14 just for 2 euro may be suitable. The bus stop for #14 is only 2 blocks walk...
The best thing about Hotel Rapallo is EVERYTHING. To start with the location is most convenient, about 10 mins from main train station and about 10 to 15 walk to all the attractions and restaurants. We were greeted at the reception by a lovely lady Regina, she was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our check in was an absolute breeze. Regina also provided us with the map and to our surprise was also able to get us the booking for Academia Museum for the next day...in a nut shell...most amazing...
My wife and I stayed here over a long weekend mid-January. Very pleased with our choice. Cool, chic modern feel, but not at all 'cheap feeling' décor like some modern hotel renovations. Interior was a really nice balance of classic Florence and modern upgrades/décor. Room was small, but super clean and comfortable. It was truly an exceptional experience everything was at top rate quality. It takes less than 4 mintes go to the center of Florence because tranvia( transportation) is just close to the hotel. Staffs are very friendly. Rooms are exceptionally clean. Breakfast was great. Highly recommended.
