You might want to get your camera out and head to Predigtstuhl Cable Car— just one of the landmarks located 1 mi (1.7 km) from central Bad Reichenhall.
If museums are on your list of things to see in Bad Reichenhall, then you might want to head to Old Salt Works. If you want to see more of the museums in Bad Reichenhall, Salzburger Freilicht Museum isn't far either.

"Great value, very friendly service, super easy access to free tram to downtown. On site parking garage at a reasonable rate. We enjoyed our stay and the value was very good, plus room was spacious and nice. We would stay there again "
"We absolutely loved this hotel. Everyone but two staff members was amazing. The young man that works the morning desk absolutely the best. He goes above and beyond to ensure you have what you need. The breakfast staff members were amazing. There is the one lady that worked the after desk that’s horrific. She needs a new career because she is miserable and mad at the world. The young man told us he would get us more train tickets to come back in 5 minutes because we extended our stay. I come back after he went home. We asked her for the tickets. She rudely said step in front of the desk not the side. She said just use your old tickets they will work I don’t see anything. Just an angry tone. Did say good by have a nice day nothing. Just started at us with hate for no reason. But other than her we loved it there we ended up staying two extra nights. The free area train tickets were a huge plus. It’s an easy walk to the train station!

"Our stay at the Hyperion Hotel Salzburg was exceptional from start to finish. The location is absolutely perfect—just a 2-minute walk from Mirabell Gardens, making it ideal for exploring Salzburg on foot while still enjoying a quiet, refined atmosphere.
The hotel itself is elegant and welcoming. What really sets it apart, though, is the customer attention. Every interaction felt thoughtful, warm, and genuinely attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and personal care. It’s that extra touch that makes you feel valued and elevates the entire experience.
A beautiful property, an unbeatable location, and service that makes you feel truly taken care of—highly recommended and absolutely deserving of five stars."
"The hotel is in a good area. Very convenient and everywhere was within walking distance. The hotel was very thoughtful to hand out sweet treats during our stay because it's Christmas. The room itself was well designed and very cozy; however our room in particular had some defects: the bathroom door doesn't close and the coffee machine doesn't work well, but these things aren't major so we can overlook. I would recommend this hotel to friends who wish to visit Salzburg. "
"We enjoyed every thing except , we thought we had purchased package with breakfast, included. Their records said no. Expedia did not include this, even though we thought we paid for it."
"Super courteous helpful and knowledgeable staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The room was a little too warm but we were able to open the windows for some fresh and cold air. Location is wonderful - within walking distance to all spots in Salzburg which is a highly walkable town. "
