Good spot. Breakfast is great! Convenient check in options for check in after reception hours. No 24/7 front desk. Didn't have a kettle or silverware in the room but ot was no problem getting some from the staff. Very friendly! The pillows were pretty bad, super soft with feathers and no other options in the room. Pillows and the two single mattresses instead of one big one would be my only complaint. But also standard for Germany and personal preference.

Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes. The surrounding village, forest, and lakes are beautiful. A magical stay.

The building and exterior of the property are beautiful. Like a countryside serenity. I loved eating outside at the restaurant everyday. The restaurant staff were amazing and cooked great food, very accommodating to my vegan diet. I came here for a wedding nearby, otherwise there would’ve been nothing to do in the remote area. My only complaint was about the room- they were very dated and did not come with a coffee machine, no fan, no AC. Dated not in a nice antique way, they just looked like...

We stopped overnight here and stayed in the guest house which is located a short stroll from the main hotel. The guest house is more like a motel type room lacking character but was fine for the in einem night. The actual hotel is located by the dam and it was lovely to sit out and drink a beer by the side of it. We also walked into nearby Feldberg an der around the half island which was interesting. The restaurant food and also breakfast was tasty with good choices.
