"Hotel was clean and well looked after, staff was friendly but two blokes serving in the regular bar and poolside bar were both great and the lady in the shop too can't remember names sorry. Location was good as was only 15 mins walk from the 'strip' or a €3.75 uber ride. One thing myself and my friends was really disappointed with however, was the absolute ridiculous price of €100 per person for the deposit of the room! €100 per room was more like it, that was a big chunk of some of our spending...

"Excellent place! Location is very central, a couple of minutes walk from the beach, and all the bars&restaurants. Hotel is old school but very functional, comfortable, spacious room, well equipped, and very warm hospitality that made us feel at home and helped us with anything we needed. Will recommend this place!"

"The Vila Gale Cerro has everything that you would need at a resort hotel. We were able to enjoy the pool area which had food and drink options throughout the day. Pool was a bit cool but refreshing and large - perfect for a hot day. We had no problem finding pool loungers in the middle of the afternoon - plenty of space. The location of the hotel is also convenient for walking to the beach and nightlife. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Great option for a stay in...

"Great hotel- fantastic pool area. Very comfortable beds but you can hear the traffic but wouldn’t stop us from going back. Very central position- Spar shop only a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. 10 mins walk to the strip and 20 minutes to old town. Taxis are extremely reasonable. Would definitely go back"

"The Hotel staff was very accomodating Their Shampoo dispenser was poor. The TV channels were very limited and several channels didn't work. There was no oven, but had a microwave. There is washing machine which was very nice. There was a lot of entertainment around the pool. Good restaurants walking distance."
