"Room was Very nice and clean. Staff were excellent and friendly. Food was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and fresh and was served to you, no self service which spoils the experience. Thank you purdy lodge we will definitely be booking with you in the future."

"The listing on Hotels.com (and a paper sign inside the room itself) advertise the hotel as having ‘free on site parking’. The property does not have parking. So I spent 4 days having to musical chairs my car around the car parks of Alnwick so as to not get a ticket. This is false advertising, and I wouldn’t have booked if the venue was honest about the parking situation. "

"Wasn’t made clear it has no reception or amenities and the building doesn’t lend its self to slow sensor lights. It was an accident waiting to happen. Room was ok, however wasn’t aware it was continental breakfast only. Had to leave early so no time to faff making tea. Curtains are not light proof and room was lit up like Blackpool illuminations. "
