Provo Central Business District
Provo's Central Business District blends modern commerce with rich heritage. The stunning Provo City Center Temple stands as a Gothic Revival masterpiece among historic red brick buildings and sleek glass offices. Explore Pioneer Park's green spaces or check out the Utah Valley Convention Center between business meetings. The nearby Brigham Young University adds youthful energy to this economic hub. Wide, tree-lined streets make this district perfect for walking, while the UVX bus system connects you to everything that matters. You'll find business-focused lunch spots alongside family restaurants, though evenings tend to be quiet. Mountain views provide a dramatic backdrop to this orderly, well-maintained neighborhood where Mormon pioneer history meets contemporary city life.

River Bottoms
The Provo River Bottoms neighborhood pairs upscale residential charm with nature's best features. Stroll the Provo River Parkway trail while mountain vistas frame your adventure, or simply soak up the peaceful riverside atmosphere. Outdoor enthusiasts love this area for its access to clear mountain waters and trails that wind through lush green spaces. Dining options are minimal here, so plan to drive into downtown Provo when hunger strikes. Most visitors stay in elegant vacation rentals with upscale amenities and private settings. A car is essential in this quiet suburb, though cycling is popular along the river trail system.

East Bay
East Bay gives you that suburban sweet spot just outside the Provo buzz. The neighborhood centers around its namesake golf course with mountain views that'll make you stop mid-putt. Nearby Utah Lake offers sandy beaches and fishing spots when you're ready to trade your golf clubs for a paddle. The tree-lined streets showcase well-kept homes where actual people live actual lives. Getting around requires wheels since public transit is limited, but the trade-off is wide, peaceful streets perfect for evening strolls. While dining options are scarce within the neighborhood itself, you're just a short drive from downtown Provo's restaurants. Expect vacation rentals and family homes rather than hotels—ideal for travelers seeking a genuine slice of American suburban life.

Foot Hills
Foot Hills gives you front-row seats to Utah's natural beauty with hiking trails starting right where the neighborhood ends. The Wasatch Mountains create a dramatic backdrop for morning walks, while nearby water parks offer splashy fun for the whole family. This peaceful residential area feels worlds away from downtown Provo while still being close enough for convenience. Families will feel right at home with spacious vacation rentals that offer mountain views and full kitchens. You'll need a car to explore properly, as public transit is limited. When hunger strikes, head to downtown Provo where dining options abound, or enjoy the quiet evenings that make this neighborhood perfect for stargazing.

Provo Canyon
Provo's Provo Canyon neighborhood offers attractions including Provo River.

Sleep Inn Provo near University
"N/A."
Provo River Inn
"The room was clean and typical for a hotel room. The young man at the front desk was friendly and gave us a river view room. Even though the inn is looking a little tired, there were obvious renovations going on (the exterior siding was being replaced). Hopefully they continue on into the rooms, because this could be a really great inn if it were updated. It is very close to the BYU stadium which made walking to and from the game easy. The AC worked great, in fact I was a little cold and had to turn the temp up a little. I'm not going to complain especially since we didn't pay much for a one night stay. If you're looking for an inexpensive spot-this one isn't bad. I wasn't creeped out."
Ramada by Wyndham Provo
"Arrived in Utah at 6am from a long drive from Oregon staff allowed me to check in after reserving the room online prior to arrival. Pet friendly hotel lots of outdoor space for my dog to walk around. Steakhouse attached to the hotel made it easy for dinning. Breakfast was good alot of options. Room cleanliness /maintenance needs some work long black hair stuck on the shower wall. Previous guests hair products lying on the floor next to the ac unit. Safety lock to entry door broken and parts missing. Door handle to the adjoining room was broken and needed to be replaced. My overall stay was good I give this stay a 7/10"

Sundance Mountain Resort
"We stayed in one of the Mandan Cabins which was unique and very enjoyable. Hotel staff & valets were excellent. The only item not to our liking was the Bedroom TV in Mandan 25 would not turn in and we could not find any way to turn it on or any instructions to rectify this issue. No big deal. Overall, a beautiful and well run Resort."
