"All the staff was so great! Always friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed getting our northern lights wake up call. Food and drinks were good. Can be a bit overwhelming when the tour busses come in, but we would stay again. Lots of dining, shopping and grocery stores. Conveniently located on the highway leading into the Golden Circle. Great no frills stay and for a small fee, a nice spa area."

"Wonderful two bedroom apartment with fully furnished kitchen. Just steps away from the water. Johann and his staff were friendly and incredibly accommodating. Johann called us to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay and even called to give us notice that the northern lights were visible outside!
The village of Eyrarbakki was within a two hour drive of everything we wanted to visit on our trip to the south coast and I as far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city that we could unwind and enjoy the sights. We will definitely be returning to Iceland in the future and Bakki Apartments will be our base camp again for sure.
