Beautiful hotel. In the heart of Interlaken. Close to the train station + short driving distance to the Falls. Looked like a great spa but we couldn’t use it because of Covid. - you need a Swiss Covid QR to enter Spas + restaurants. Otherwise a beautiful experience.
A beautiful, historic property with fabulous views over the lake to the Alps. Excellent staff and service. A very good meal in an elegant dining room with a view to the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the Interlsken area.
Very nice property in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Friendly staff and lots of areas to walk and enjoy the scenery. Great breakfast options and lots of options for restaurants in addition to the one onsite. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again.
Staff was hands down the most kind we encountered! Very helpful and willing to answer questions. Rooms were well equipped and breakfast was included. This place was amazing. 5 min walk to trains and staff gave you a city pass to utilize during your stay. Room was cozy and clean. Loved the meringue cookies in the room! Great location.
Staff at check in was so pleasant and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with the laundry machines. Our apt was spotless and very comfortable. Views were stunning as we sat on the huge balcony. Very well equipped kitchen. Definitely rate this a 10+. I hope we can return someday
Perfect staying place if you wanna explore interlaken and lake briense and Jungfrau region , added advantage is Indian food bcoz of Indian chef at restaurant in the hotel , front desk and reception hospitality was awesome , would recommend it highly and would love to stay again
First time to Switzerland for my gf. We wanted to hike around the area and enjoy small mountain town experience. We chose the Gletschergarten based upon other customer reviews. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located.
The local bus service is free for guests, provides easy connection to the train station.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly.
You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants!

I had a single upgraded room that had a balcony facing the Wetterhorn. I would enjoy my coffee on the balcony each...

Absolutely recommend this hotel if staying in a Engelberg. The hotel was a great place to spend two nights in Engelberg and is located in the center of town, about a 3 minute walk from the train station and a 12 minute walk to the cable car up to Mount Titlis (free shuttle from the train station if preferred). My room had a lovely balcony complete with flowers and a great view. The staff at the front desk and at breakfast were both very friendly. I hope to get the chance to stay at this hotel...
If I ever go back to Interlaken then I would like to stay at this hotel. It is clean, well maintained with great amenities and views. They have a game room where you can grab snacks and hot tea. The morning breakfast offered variety of delicious food. Room size was perfect with enough outlets, shelves and the balcony was a very nice bonus.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and we had a lovely stay. Right by all the local transport and food options. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
