"Free parking would be helpful."
Basecamp Lodge Canmore
"This was a more affordable option which included free parking, a microwave and Cappuccino machine in the communal room, and several restaurants nearby. Train tracks, which go through the middle of Canmore, are directly behind the hotel. We heard or saw the train several times however it never woke us up. As a light sleeper, I only heard it if I was already awake. Our room was comfortable and clean but the ground floor room offered little privacy outside the window. No matter tho, the views are stunning!"
Basecamp Resorts Canmore
"Loved the cleanliness and having the laundry machines was super convenient. Just remember to bring your own lotion as they don't provide any. Location is wonderful and the parking lot gets a bit tight in the mornings due to the bagel shop next door. Courteous service as well."
Canmore Inn & Suites
"Convenient location. Walked to restaurants and stores. Also walked to Bow River Trail, but turned back in rain. Next to a train track. Could hear trains rumble by in the night. We didn’t use pool but it looked nice. $12 breakfast at 7:00 was too late for us. Headed to Banff earlier. Room was clean, comfortable beds."
Lamphouse By Basecamp
"Really cute boutiquey hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious. Great location especially for events by Centennial Park. Free parking. Near trails and shops. We requested for the sofa bed to be turned ahead of our arrival but we had to do it ourselves - minor inconvenience of not having round the clock housekeeping and front desk."
Basecamp Suites Canmore
"A shower caddy would have been helpful. The cabinet below the TV was worthless for storing items. There was one tiny drawer that was sticking and only pulled out a few inches. Kitchen was very functional. Pocket door to the bedroom wouldn't stay shut. In bathroom, towel bar was broken and tp holder was loose and the roll would slide off the end. Overall it worked out well, but a few upgrades would have been helpful."
