"We had an excellent relaxing stay at Umthunzi. Room is spacious and well serviced. The staff go out of their way to assist any requests- especially Esme Jones who assisted on a particular request. Swimming pool was also very well maintained. Beach is a short walk away as well as very close to retaurants and shopping centers. It was an excellent week away and very highly recommended."

"The stay was amazing, great facilities and the staff, specially Grace (GM) and Odette, were amazing but the main reservation support of First Group leaves a lot to be desired!
They were unprofessional and extremely unhelpful; I was very disappointed in them and the manner in which they handled the issue we faced, thankfully Grace and Odette were super helpful! A huge thumbs up and thank you to them!

"It was a charming little room with a balcony. Private, quiet and sweet. We loved it! And we will be back. :)
Security-wise it wasn't as good as it could have been. The property gate was always open and didn't respond to the clicker we received. The garage door didn't have a key so only locked from the inside. The suite itself did lock so I suppose not a huge deal, but still, an easy thing to fix to let us feel a little safer.
