"Everything about our stay was wonderful with the exception of the breakfast. The room was exceptionally nice. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows (a problem I have with most hotels). I slept so good! The bathroom was spacious and pristine clean. The breakfast, however, was not so great. The biscuits were hard, the grits had solidified together, and the eggs were tasteless. I chose to eat cereal and a small cup of yogurt. There was also fresh fruit and waffles that were options. Me and my husband generally eat grits, eggs, and biscuits for breakfast and it terrible! Other than that, I could not have asked for a better experience."

"While the lobby and my room were certainly clean and fine, I was very disappointed to discover the pool was out of commission and the temperature hovered around 100 degrees. I also found white debris all over the property (not sure if it was construction related as there was some equipment in the rear of the property), but it was unsightly. The staff and breakfast were helpful and the food delicious, respectively."

"The staff made the experience great overall — everyone from the front desk staff to the maintenance guys. The hotel was definitely in a transitional state, though. The first room they put us in literally had wet carpet from a leaking AC. The room we finally got into was okay, but the toilet leaked onto the floor the whole trip, and we needed to get staff to let us into the rooms because they couldn’t make us a key (the machine was broken). Overall, I would say that the rooms were way too expensive for the experience that we had."
