The Tides Inn

The Tides Inn

10/10 Excellent
"More like a bnb with a nice multi-room layout -- the location a couple blocks from the harbor and the main street was remarkable. Just gorgeous location. Absolutely loved it. Everything inside was nice -- appreciated they haven't gone the cheapo Roku approach and had real tv. Had mugs, glasses, silverware. All around great and an amazing stay."

"My wife and I had a lovely time at the Swan Nest in Seward. A welcoming, safe, and charming place. Lovely common areas, cozy bedroom, beautiful breakfasts made to order (thanks, Jada!), and walking distance from many terrific restaurants and bars, as well as a gorgeous mountain view. Just a cozy spot where you feel at home!"

"Reasonably priced for the area. Out of the hustle and bustle of town, yet not too far. We had a mouse in our cabin the first night (it is out in the woods, after all), but the staff took care of that with traps the next day. Just a heads up to not leave food out."

Murphy's Alaskan Inn

Murphy's Alaskan Inn

8/10 Good
"The staff was great. The property smaller and is dated however, the problem is the plumbing is in-need of service. Our bathtub/shower was extremely slow to drain (yuck). You can tell drainage issues have plagued the units as wall access panels were of different colors (we rented 2 rooms). When that issue is corrected, the property will do for a night or two prior to leaving out on either a charter or cruise ship."
