It felt secluded, but it was just a short drive to Seward, which is fun and vibrant. I almost cried when we left and I vow to return one day. Side note: there was mention in the description of no cell service unless you have Verizon, but our Spectrum service there worked perfectly—even though you should not want to be on a phone in such a special place. "

"We had a great stay in Seward. Our apartment was in the heart of downtown-walking distance to shops, restaurants, Sea Life Center & Waterfront Park. We had a private bathroom, futon, kitchen amenities. We had a studio apartment but it was fine for just the 2 of us."
