Odessa has some very unique things to see. I did not feel unsafe in many of the areas. It had some delicious places to eat and some quilt stores that were really fun to visit.

Excellent
I was only here briefly, but I found it very easy to get around as traffic does not exist (I live in the DC metroplex, so this is my point of reference). There are many great places to eat and shopping was a short drive away.

I live in Odessa, so I see the good and bad. Traffic is awful, but the people are nice. It's a blue collar city with lots of growing pains. But we do have beautiful sunsets.

People were friendly and there were plenty of things for kids to do outside of the nasty hotel we booked.
