Exceptional property, spacious water facing villas, stupendous views, attentive and smiling staff

The whole staff at Amani strive to make your time there perfect! The food is delicious, and there are thoughtful small touches throughout the day. I would definitely recommend this hotel- and would eagerly come back again!

The reviews on this place did not serve it justice! I was blown away at the amenities that were not mentioned. When you arrive you are greeted with a welcome drink and cleansing towel. There is a restaurant on site and you basically get a concierge that you can message whenever you need something. They even provide a grocery list of things they can shop for you and will do your laundry (both for a fee). Shuttle to sister hotel to go to the beach was a good plus (no fee). Staff was...

I was looking for a chill, boutique style hotel to relax, S&S was a great choice. Great and attentive staff, nice & clean rooms. The pool is pretty basic. Would be nice if it were bigger.

This was a nice property very close to the beach. The owner was super nice and involved. He showed us around and showed us where to eat in the area. The only downside was the shower which had salty water so when you showered it was like showering with ocean water.

We had a wonderful time at Meliks! We stayed for two nights, and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. On our arrival, we were greeted warmly by the staff, and they helped us take the bags upstairs to the room. The room was great- not huge, but it worked for the two of us. Our family had an amazing time at this property. The staff was always engaged and friendly. Quiet and peaceful area. 1 minute walk to beach and to numerous places to eat. We ate dinner at a different type of cuisine each night. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast made to order whenever we arrived. Gym and spa available. Staff always eager to give advice and just ask how our day is going and if we need anything. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed for four nights. Getting there from the airport is best by taxi. You can coordinate with the hotel to get a driver to pick you up for $35. Otherwise, the airport taxis will charge you up to $60 for a one way trip. The town of Jambiani very poor and there's nothing to see. However, the beaches are very nice. The hotel offers free breakfast and it's excellent. The restaurant offers a lot of food options, but they never have anything fresh, most if frozen. I only ate breakfast and...
