"Friendly, caring, respectful, enjoyable atmosphere. An elegant breakfast at a common table facing the lake. We went to MN to visit an ailing friend, whose condition worsened on our arrival. We weren’t able to see him until our last (3rd) night (at the hospital), but we were physically, mentally and spiritually fed and comforted by our wonderful hosts, Gary and Sandra. We also thank the otters in the lake for their entertainment."

"It wasn't bad of a place, but yeah, their continental breakfast is you're better off buying breakfast and uh, the coffee is always on back order. The room was pretty nice. Other than they didn't clean the bathroom very well. I found woman's hair in the bathtub when I went to go take a shower. And I don't have any hair but if you're in a pinch, it's not bad."

"The pool room was super nice with a nice size pool as well as a play pool area with slide, water that sprayed up and buckets that dump water on you and then there was a nice size jacuzzi where part of it went outdoors so you could see right onto the lake. The hotel is literally on the lake so you can walk right outdoors to do lake swimming or walk along the shoreline. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They even opened the gift shop one evening after hours so I could purchase a gift...

"Very comfortable stay. Everything we needed was there. One suggestion we would make is to improve the quality of your toilet paper. It was way too rough and fell apart easily, hence causing us to use more. Otherwise, our stay was very nice."

"The room was comfortable and had very nice beds. The staff should have been a little more friendly and welcoming. At 8:15 in the morning, the hot food for the continental breakfast was gone. The attendant said he didn't have time to refill it. He could have at least restocked the cold or grab and go items. There was almost nothing left. The breakfast went until 9:00. "

Theres a cute little coffe shop across the parking lot that is drive or walk thru too! Lots to do and see In Park Rapids and surrounding towns (highly suggest Nevis right up the road). Walmart and Aldi super close too which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend to others and will likely stay there again."

"Easy booking, no onsite check in, they text you code for lock box which is super convenient. Looks like a cowboy motel, not great looking on outside, and parking is a bit tight, but the location and cleanliness and comfort was great. Excellent mattress and tons of very hot water and great water pressure. Fluffy towels! Great value."
