The hotel was lovely, comfortable and well maintained. It is in the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise. The bed was very comfortable but the sheets were very rough.
Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Resturant attached to hotel was good, perhaps a bit overpriced for dinner. Breakfast was included and was adequate.
The management from bottom to top are excellent! Very helpful , Harold the manager, Elke the admin are exceptional!
Correspondences with questions and requests were quickly answer by Elke - first, the very next day - due to 9 hours time difference. We are in Arizona.
We did not end up using the upgraded room we paid additionally, I asked for refund, after returning in Arizona, I emailed them, providing my banking info. refund was in my account within 24 hours.
De Broeierd is a beautiful, large old farmhouse built into an interesting and very cozy hotel with a very good restaurant at one end and a lovely "bistro" at the other end. Large outdoor seating areas add to the comfort. The rooms (we had two-level rooms with balconies) are spacious and comfortable, beds very comfortable, but you should be able to climb the typically Dutch steep narrow stairs up to the sleeping area. Our rooms had a few minor glitches (door alarm started beeping...
Excellent service! Breakfast was not overly complicated or consisting of many options, but it was high quality and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good stay when working for the company. Convenient drive to Gronau. Walking distance to various restaurants and markets. Breakfast was efficient. WiFi was a little slow for business though.
