"I would stay here over and over again. The staff was so lovely, kind, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to be kind and interact with my toddler and made her at home. They kindly took care of our luggage and car and ensured we had everything we needed at all points in our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this property."

"Perfect location in the city with parking included. Easy access to the major roads so you can drive and explore the beautiful island. Also very easy to walk to the downtown core where all the restaurants are located. The front desk staff were always helpful and attentive. Breakfast included worked very well for us and the breakfast itself was also good. Our room was clean and well put together. Would absolutely recommend!"

"The Hotel Talisman was a very good choice for my first night in Sao Miguel having taken a taxi from the airport. It is close to the centre of town and less than 5 minutes from where I picked up my hire car the next day. I didn't eat there that night as they only had a buffet for dinner. However breakfast was very good with a great deal of choice. The hotel is in a very old building with a quirky room layout but that only added to the charm of the place. I understand they have paid parking available but it wouldn't be my choice to stay with a car as the surrounding streets are very narrow."
