okay. Quiet enough, although there weren't too many guests. The beds, though, we're not good. Very small, extremely narrow, and a bit hard and lumpy as well. Really brought down the room.
Le Christina was better than expected. The room was new and modern. Hotel staff was courteous and attentive. Breakfast (I think it was 9 euro but can't remember the exact amount) included many delicious items.
Overall, Le Christina is a wonderful hotel in the peaceful historical town of Bourges.
Travelling from Calais to our house in the South of France,Bourges is a handy overnight stop. Have stayed at many of the budget hotels at the autoroute junction and in town. This was all one could expect. Clean, friendly, big room, good shower and bathroom, good breakfast. Within walking distance of 3 or 4 chain restaurants. At the price I'll certainly be using it again.
The property was excellent. The rooms great! Customer service excellent. Not too far from town although you will require a car, Uber or taxi to get there.
The staff really went the extra mile to help us. We had to get up extra early and check out for a tour later that day in Paris. They prepared for us an excellent breakfast outside of the normal hours.
Great location within easy walk to palace and cathedral. Parking was a little tricky but the hotel staff were super helpful in finding it and it was free when we stayed. Great value for France as this is a new and elegant hotel.
