The hotel is located further from the center of town, but the staff is excellent, the facility is new and quiet, and the breakfast buffet is great.

I slept really well here. Caroline in particular was lovely and has multiple good recommendations for me and helped me out when the room I was assigned was not what I would have hoped for. They could improve the breakfast since it’s just basic carbs and nothing else. No protein, no fruit. But it wasn’t a big deal. Do yourself a favor and book a FULL DAY trip on the ice with Albatross. Room was big. Staff was very helpful. Our flight was canceled and they did so much to help us stay an extra day helped us a lot with this. Also the cleaning lady was super nice and helped me a lot during the day. Great place for a family to stay in Nuuk.

Wonderful house in a beautiful location, with a lovely view of the water. Hosts are exceptionally kind and friendly, the rooms and beds are very comfortable, and the whole town is very walkable. There was some on-site, self-service laundry but I did not make use of it on this trip. Could not have asked for a more pleasant place to stay and rest up in Upernavik for a few days, and I would absolutely stay here if I'm lucky enough to visit the town again.

If not aware, check in occurs at HHE. The apartments are a short 5ish minute walk away. The facilities are nice, including the rare gym amenities that include proper functioning equipment. If you stay at the apartments you do have access to the HHE facilities. Wi-Fi was fast and overall Nuuk is an easily walkable city with most things you need being with 5 minutes walking. Property was super convenient to downtown and the restaurant provided excellent food and breakfast and dinner were amazing. We stayed in the front cabins which had an amazing view of the bay a little dated, but we were not there for the architecture. The view and scenery were out of this world.

Although I did not have an opportunity to see any of the hotels in more remote areas, without a doubt, this is the finest hotel in the Ilulissat city center. It's a bit in the expensive side, but worth it. The staff was wonderful, from Malou, the lovely woman who checked me in, to the chef in the restaurant, who sat down with me to figure out what vegetarian dishes he should prepare for me at dinner time. I stayed here for three nights after being trapped in Nuuk by a flight cancelation. This is a nice hotel in the heart of downtown Nuuk. The staff, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant, were very pleasant and really accommodating. One woman at the front desk really went above and beyond in liaising with the airline that cancelled my flight. I truly appreciate the effort. I would definitely stay here again.
