This is historic hotel. I stayed here 30 years ago and came back, did not feel any aging. Amazing place and location. Will stay here again for next trip.

Excellent location. They offered an upgrade for only 30usd extra and I got a gorgeous suite with a terrace and view of the skyline. I wish I could have stayed longer

Overall experience is pleasant.Located in the business and financial center of city, it is very convenient to go anywhere you want to go and walking distance to shopping center nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean, no strange smells.

Amazing 👏 hotel in Fuzhou

Staff was very friendly and went out of there way to help me. There restaurant is well staffed and food is delicious even for some one who has never had authentic Chinese food

It is a very nice place to stay- very comfortable room, and friendly, helpful staff. There is lots of activities in Shanghai, and this hotel is not far from them, with subway station 1 minute away.

The Grand Hyatt Shanghai is a wonderful hotel located inside the Jim Mao tower, one of the most iconic buildings of the city. The staff is very nice and our room was on the 78th floor so the view was just fantastic. We could see the pearl tower and the Shanghai Tower just in front of us...at night we could see the beautiful lights of the city that would light up the flowing Huangpu river. On checking in, we were told that we were booked in the Garden Tower, which was an old structure from 1987 and showed its age, and were encouraged to upgrade to the Valley Tower, that was only a few years old. I was surprised at such a significant disparity in the condition of the two towers, especially at the Shangri-la. I am glad we upgraded as the rooms in the Valley Tower are spacious and well appointed. From a walk-in closet to a bathroom with a TV built into the mirror, there are a lot...

Swimming poor and the changing room was wonderful. The staff can speak English. Many restaurants, cafés and shopping mall were close to the hotel. Very convenient!

Suites are huge and worth the upgrade. Great gym, massage and spa. Restaurants are excellent, especially the chinese ones. We even impressed our chinese partners with the food there. Great showers, water pressure is excellent. Clean linens and towels make this another great spot. Safe, clean, wifi for westerners, and accessibility make this is a great choice.

Amazing hotel near a mall good access to furniture and ceramic city

Excellent service from the staff, very helpful and courteous. Enough English speaking staff members too. Decent breakfast buffet; mix of western, chinese, japanese food. Good location for downtown. Room is comfortable. If you get a room facing inwards the indoor atrium balcony is a nice touch; you can open the doors and not feel so claustrophobic in the room.
